Final Version!
Well, always to be taken with a pinch of salt, but I do believe this is the final release version. Everything feels pretty well cooked, and now it's all about working on the expansions (a bunch of which are coming in short order, along with some official miniatures & terrain). There weren't a ton of changes between the last update and this one, so we took that as a sign that it's time to put a fork in the thing. Said changes:
- We replaced references to "adventurer" with "delver." This is a pretty unimportant aesthetic change, but is also meant to avoid confusion with the "Adventurer" player archetype that's coming out during the next month.
- We got rid of healed HP being added to encounter % during a rest. It felt just a tad overly complicated, especially now that we have the escalating encounter chance.
- We added a character sheet! I guess that's the biggest one. These have been a huge help in our own games.
And that's pretty much it! We really appreciate the support you've all shown the game, and we're looking forward to releasing some pretty important single-page expansions that really open up the gameplay and show what you can do with the engine. Until then, happy gaming,
